Privacy notice
This notice explains how we use the personal information you share with us through www.buildagents.uk. Last updated: October 2026.

What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, work email address, company, sector, phone number if you choose to give it, and what you tell us about your workflow. We also receive any information you include in later emails or conversations with us.
Our website host may record basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a conversation.
- To understand your workflow and decide whether a pilot could be suitable.
- To prepare and agree the scope and price of a pilot, if we both decide to go ahead.
- To keep a record of our business correspondence.
We will not add you to a mailing list or send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Our legal basis
We use your information because we have a legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and developing working relationships. Where we go on to agree a pilot with your organisation, we may also use it to take steps towards, and carry out, that contract.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run this website and our email, under contract and only as needed. Some of these providers may process information outside the UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by UK data protection law. We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we enter into a contract with your organisation, in which case we keep relevant records for as long as needed for that contract and our legal obligations.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it. You can also ask for a copy in a portable format. To make a request, email robjforshaw@gmail.com. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
